The document sets out the measures and actions, as well as their timings, to better manage the environmental and social risks of CARE for South Asia project and to improve development outcomes.
CARE for South Asia is implemented in accordance with the World Bank’s Environmental and Social Standards. The project supports the region in building resilience to climate change. The project improves the availability of regional data, creates guidelines for using climate information, and develops tools and capacities to enable policymakers to take climate-resilient decisions across key sectors. It also supports an enabling environment for climate resilience policies and investments in several sectors and countries in South Asia.
