DSS Data Scientist
Tarakesh manages and analyzes climate and related datasets for the finance and planning and transport sectors, and develops analytics and visualization platforms. At RIMES, he supports the technical design and implementation of projects, provides technical assistance for effective monitoring and evaluation, facilitates knowledge building and management, and supports the provision of technical advice for meteorological and related areas for managing disaster events.
Tarakesh has seven years of experience in the field. Prior to RIMES, he worked at Andhra Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority (APSDMA). He holds a master’s degree in Technology from Andhra University in India.
