World Bank – RIMES Meeting on Ways Forward for Component 1 of CARE for South Asia Project

Team members of the Climate Adaptation and Resilience (CARE) for South Asia project from the World Bank and the Regional Integrated Multi-Hazard Early Warning System (RIMES) met on Friday, October 21, 2022, the last day of the three-day 2022 CARE for South Asia Regional Workshop.

Leading the meeting on behalf of the World Bank were Ms. Naho Shibuya and Mr. Hemang Karelia (Senior Disaster Risk Management Specialists and Task Team Leads for CARE), and Mr. A.R. Subbiah (Director, RIMES) and Ms. Ruby Rose Policarpio (Project Director, CARE Component 1) for RIMES.

The discussions centered on streamlining CARE Component 1, for ensuring impactful and sustainable interventions.
